A Majority of Climate Scientists Skeptical About Global Warming

A recent peer-reviewed study of climate scientists found that only 36 percent believe that Global Warming is happening because of human activity and that it will affect them personally.

The results of this survey of “geo-scientists” (earth scientists) and engineers are similar to surveys of meteorologists. More information about the study can be found here.

Those conducting the survey appear to be sympathetic with the minority, “alarmist” view that Global Warming is the result of human activity and can be stopped by changing human behavior.

For sometime, those alarmists who try to say that humans are causing warming that will result in catastrophic Climate Change have said the scientific community has reached consensus and that the science is “settled”. Since a distinct minority agree with the alarmists, there may indeed be a consensus forming — that Global Warming is nothing to get exercised about.
